New Hanover County Schools has big needs — and this November, voters have the chance to make a serious dent. The $320.5 million bond, backed by $116 million from The Endowment, tackles the district’s highest priorities head-on.

- New Trask Middle School
- Phase I of New Hanover High School renovation
- New Pine Valley Elementary
- New Riverlights Elementary, replacing Mary C. Williams
- Porters Neck Elementary addition
- $40M in districtwide technology, security, and infrastructure — reaching every school
A Foundation for What Comes Next
The bond addresses the most urgent needs now while the district continues planning for future phases. Remaining projects — including Isaac Bear Early College and additional elementary renovations — aren’t forgotten. They’re next.
The district also invests $5.2 million annually in ongoing repairs, keeping facilities running while long-term solutions take shape.
